CUSTOMER CHALLENGE
A customer purchasing agrochemicals from China had experienced quality problems with delivered goods which could not be returned and caused loss of revenue, delays and reputation damage.
TARGET
To sample and test goods prior to leaving China to ensure product quality meets the required specification.
PROJECT
Fountainbridge provided inspection and sampling service, traveling to warehouses and factories to sample products. QC Analysis tests carried out using standard CIPAC analytical methods, full report provided to customer with detailed analytical methods, results and photos to release goods for export.
OUTCOME
Customer has been able to better manage quality issues prior to goods being shipped to destination which has helped to save money and improve supply chain efficiency.
